What is DaBacco?
And More...
What is DaBacco?
DaBacco is a metaphor created to describe the indulgence of smoking tobacco. It's a rhyme, a pun, and a symbol for getting around the ridiculous levy of taxes on pre-packaged cigarettes. Having found MYO as a loophole around this, one may enjoy at least this pleasure at a reasonable cost.
The rhyme and pun extend past tobacco to the metaphor of adding spice to one's life. If you already know the type of spice or herb you like, do as the Europeans do: take a pinch and mix it up in your own DaBacco blend!
Bacco is the Italian name of Bacchus, the Greek (turned Roman) god of wine which signifies indulgence in pleasures. Bacco was exemplified by the Romans and their affinity to over-indulge. Not to go that far, but please do enjoy pleasures in life when you do have the opportunity.
DaBacco is to take enjoyment from simple pleasures when the ever present whirlwinds blow us off our centers.
What is MYO?
MYO stands for Make Your Own. It's a way to make your own cigarettes that compare to pack cigarettes with one major difference: You can smoke higher quality tobacco without chemicals and adjuncts for much less money.
First you'll need a Hand Cigarette Injector. Most tobacco shops are selling these and lately you'll even be able to find them in a convenience store. They will range from $6 to $10. Don't worry so much about this price because you'll be saving up to 50% per pack. So in the end this is only a couple of days of buying packs.

Personally I prefer the Zig Zag Brand Injector as it's sturdy and works about the best of all those tried. Also it is the more compact of all of them.
Next you'll need some tubes. These are basically empty cigarettes. This are usually priced to about half the cost of a pack of cigarettes for 200 of them. (1-2 cents a piece) Quality can vary, so find a local store that stocks them and try out a few different brands. They also come in light and menthol flavor if you prefer.
A tamper. This usually comes with the injector machine, I suggest the use of this to be able to make an even firm stick.
Loose Tobacco. There are many brands out there that have packaged for the MYO market. Some are better than others, but mostly you need to buy for your flavor preferences. My suggestions buy the best you can, you'll get that much for enjoyment out of your smoke and still be saving money.
What is RYO?
RYO stands for Roll Your Own. In a sense cigarettes started as Roll-Your-Own, but of course this was before tobacco companies started producing pre-made cigarettes. Although, even after this some people still preferred the experience of hand rolling.

As it takes a little knack and some practice to hand roll, some aspiring entrepreneur invented a little machine that made quite acceptable smokes. This is the (Hand) Rolling Machine. Look for them at your local tobacco shop and pick up a pack a papers while your at it. A bit of loose tobacco and a DaBacco Boxx will be all you need!
What are Wraps?
Wraps are sheets (leaves) of tobacco traditionally used to wrap and hold cigar tobacco blends. In a cigar, the wrapper is usually of a different type of tobacco from the blend that in rolled inside. Several years ago, people started buying inexpensive cigars and began cutting them open, blending their own filler, and then re-wrapping to create their own personal smoking experience. After the trend grew and the tobacco companies realized this, they began to offer just the wrap. Wraps have become extremely popular and now come in many varieties and flavors.
